There
are several scholarships available to students studying a Higher Degree
Research (HDR) at the University of New England. The Australia scholarship offered
to undertake master’s and doctoral degrees at the University of New England.
All
Scholarship Applicants must currently be enrolled in a Higher Degree Research
course, or have submitted a Candidature Application for an HDR Course unless
otherwise stated. The University of New England scholarship will cover total
tuition fees and provide a stipend for living expenses and single Standard
Overseas Health Insurance.
The
University of New England is a public university in Australia with
approximately 22,500 higher education students. Its original and main campus is
located in the city of Armidale in northern central New South Wales. UNE was
the first Australian university established outside a state capital city.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants
must meet all entry requirements for the master’s or Ph.D. program. The
scholarships are only available to international students.
The
scholarships are available to new students starting in the 2025 academic year.
Stipend:
AU$28,854
per year tax-free for full-time students, paid in biweekly installments.
