The DAAD Funding Programme:

The Helmut-Schmidt-Programme (Master’s Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance - PPGG) is a prestigious initiative by the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) or German Academic Exchange Service. This programme is designed to nurture future leaders in the fields of politics, administration, economy, and non-governmental organizations.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have a first academic degree (16 years of education) that is not older than six years. The scholarships are open to candidates from around the globe who demonstrate a strong commitment to public policy and good governance. Proficiency in English is required, as the courses are conducted entirely in English.

The scholarship covers a range of master’s degree courses in the following areas:

Application Period:

The application period for participating higher education institutions is from 1 June until 31 July 2024.
