 Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme 2025

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) invites applications for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme 2025-2026. This scholarship, initiated by the Hungarian Government, provides fully funded opportunities for Pakistani/AJK nationals to pursue Bachelor’s, One-Tier Master’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees in Hungary. The programme is managed by HEC in collaboration with the Tempus Public Foundation, Hungary.

• Applicants must be Pakistani/AJK nationals.
• For each program level, specific eligibility criteria apply (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD).
• Students must meet minimum educational qualifications for the desired degree.

Application Requirements:

1. Submission of applications on both the Hungarian portal and the HEC portal is mandatory.
2. Hungarian portal application: stipendiumhungaricum.hu/apply
3. HEC portal application: scholarship.hec.gov.pk
4. Candidates must choose the "Hungarian Scholarship Program" on the HEC portal.
5. Keep a copy of the submitted applications for records.
6. HEC may conduct a written test (HAT/USAT); 50% marks are mandatory for consideration.
7. Only applications submitted through HEC’s online portal will be entertained.
8. Fulfilling eligibility criteria and application submission does not guarantee selection.
