 Required Documents for DSU Scholarship (University of Pisa – Pakistani Applicants)

1. DSU Online Application

  • Apply online through the DSU Toscana Sportello Studente portal.

  • The call usually opens in July each year:

 2. Family Economic Condition Certificate

You must provide official documents proving your family’s income, assets, and household status, issued from Pakistan.

Prepare these:

a. Family Income Certificate

  • Shows the total annual income of the family.

  • Must include all earning members.

  • Issued by:

    • Union Council, or

    • Tehsildar / Assistant Commissioner, or

    • FBR (for tax return info).

b. Family Composition Certificate

  • Lists all family members living in the same household.

  • Can be obtained from:

    • NADRA / Union Council (translated version).

c. Property & Assets Declaration

  • Includes ownership of land, buildings, vehicles, savings, and other movable or immovable assets.

  • Must mention both rural and urban assets (if any).

  • Can be notarized or verified by Tehsildar / Patwari office.


 3. Translation into Italian

All documents must be:

  • Translated into Italian

  • Legally certified (either from:

    • A certified translator and Notary Public, OR

    • Board of Intermediate/University legal translation department).


 4. Legalization by Italian Authorities

Legalize translated documents:

  • Through the Italian Embassy or Consulate in Islamabad/Lahore/Karachi.

  • Or via Apostille (if applicable) or Italian Prefettura if you're already in Italy.


 5. Passport Copy

  • Valid passport (with photo and personal info pages).


 6. Valid Identity Document

  • CNIC or B-Form (translated if required).


 7. DSU Application Receipt

  • Print the application receipt after online submission and send it with your documents.


🚨 Important Notes

  • All documents must relate to the year before application (e.g., if applying in July 2025, documents must reflect income/assets in 2024).

  • DSU scholarship is renewed yearly, so reapply every academic year.

  • Scholarship includes:

    • Free meals

    • Free accommodation

    • Tuition exemption

    • Pocket money for books/sports

    • Academic merit will be considered from 2nd year onward.
