📝 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Chevening, you must:

1. Be a citizen of Pakistan (or other Chevening-eligible countries)

2. Hold a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to a UK second-class upper (2:1) or higher (BDS is acceptable)

3. Have at least 2 years of work experience (paid or unpaid, internships, volunteering all count)

4. Apply to three different eligible UK university courses

5. Return to your home country for at least two years after finishing your degree

🌐 English Language Requirement

• Chevening no longer requires IELTS/TOEFL for the scholarship itself.

• However, your chosen UK university will require proof of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or Duolingo).

• Most universities require:

  • IELTS: Overall 6.5 (no band <6.0)

  • TOEFL iBT: 90+

  • Some universities may waive the test if your previous degree was taught in English.
